What a beautiful day to celebrate our RISEN SAVIOR! Started off the day with getting two babies ready for an early church service and then thoroughly savored worshipping together as husband and wife! We so look forward to the day when our girls can be in there with us and we can praise His name as a family! (The constant chatter and babbling of ma-ma-ma and da-da-da might be rather distracting at this point=) We are eternally grateful for Jesus' ultimate sacrifice on the cross and for bearing the wrath that we deserve-we are humbled by His faithfulness to His children and for the love that He has for each of us! What a glorious day to celebrate the cross-the only thing that has the power to make us right before a Holy God! All Glory be to God for clothing wretched sinners in the righteousness of Christ!
Attempted to get a picture of both girls looking in the right direction but failed =) (we weren't even being greedy and hoping for smiles!!)
Following our unsuccessful photo session, we loaded up the girls and headed to some friends of ours from our small group to enjoy a gourmet Easter lunch of Subway-I guess that's what happens when you have no family in town and are trying to be wise in spending money! We had the best time though enjoying intentional conversation and spending time with fellow believers! Added bonus: all 4 babies slept for over an hour at the same time! =)
