Baby #4 Coming Soon

Well, it felt like eternity waiting to tell these sweet girls that they were, Lord willing, going to be big sisters come March! I am so thankful for my sweet friend Allison who helped to perfectly capture their response to the news that Mommy indeed has a baby in her tummy! Might also help them understand why mommy could hardly budge from the couch from pure exhaustion =)

So without further ado here's our sweet trio completely unaware of what's on the other side of that chalkboard sign. =)
So eternally grateful for the gift and miracle of new life!
Family of SIX (soon to be!!)
Literally the SWEETEST memory letting them in on our little secret!
Just raw and honest reactions! Letting the news sink in...
Makenzie literally fell over backwards with excitement and surprise!
We are so humbled that the Lord has graciously given us a sweet new life to love! We can't wait to meet you little one! We know you will be dearly loved. =)
Samford Hall holds so many wonderful memories for us and now we have just added another precious one to the bunch!
Coming Soon...Baby Currie #4 due in March 2017!

1st Day of Kindergarten {Twins}

So as a parent you know this day is coming, but I don't think there is anything you can do to prepare for the emotions that will follow other than to keep your eyes upward each day. To know these children we have been entrusted with are a gift from God. To use the days He grants us wisely. To make as many memories as possible and savor the time with them. It all goes by far too quickly even though some days may have felt like they crept by ever so slowly. As we packed lunches, laid out backpacks and clothes, & read some stories about starting school, my heart was at peace and full of gratitude that the Lord graciously allowed me to stay home with them from birth until now. We have prayed for this day and it is finally upon us. Praying for their hearts as they make new friends and learn new things-may they let their lights shine for you Jesus as you grow them up!

Looks like we are as ready as we are ever going to be!
Cutest lil' Kindergarten girls!
Will be fun to look back and see their favorites and things they loved!
So grateful they are in the same class and have each other as they begin this new adventure!
Little Sis won't know what to do without her sisters home every day and having Mommy all to herself as well!
Walking these girls into their classroom on the first day of Kindergarten...
Makenzie and Maddie Grace leaving "home" for the first time in their lives...not sure who was more nervous-them or us?!

Finding their cubbies, unpacking, & finding their desks to get started!
They truly are "Happy Campers" after meeting Mrs. Moyer! We know it's going to be a great year!
We pray they always cherish this special bond of being twins!
Mrs. Moyer sent all the parents a picture of them on their first day!! =)
Starting our new tradition of a school bus cake for snack after their first day of school each year! No one will be hiring me as cake decorator anytime soon, but they sure were all smiles when they saw it and that's all that matters!

Kindergarten Meet the Teacher {Maddie Grace & Makenzie}

As parents, it's difficult to imagine turning your most precious possessions here on earth over to anyone, to spend more time with them during the day than you. When we opened the letters to find out who their Kindergarten teacher would be, we immediately were full of thanksgiving! Answered prayers...truly! Now that doesn't mean it will be easy to drop them off in just a few short days, but we are so, so thankful that they will be in Mrs. Moyer's class! We have heard from so many how amazing she is and how wonderful of a teacher she is! We are now a smidge more excited about the year...=)
All smiles as they found their names and where they will sit. They were relieved to see she had so sweetly put them next to one another to begin the year!
We are thrilled to begin the year now and look forward to seeing them learn and blossom in Kindergarten!
Excited little "campers' in Mrs. Moyer's class!
