Our little ones are on the go and so are we! It won't be long before gates are needed around our house. Baby B (Makenzie) has made sure we know that she intends to get places. She is one determined little girl! She loves to be moving from the minute her toes are gently pulled from the swaddle each morning and doesn't stop until they are carefully tucked back in the swaddle at night =) She is rolling in all directions and grabbing her feet/toes is a regular occurence these days. Big Sis Maddie Grace is moving too but not nearly as fast as Little Sis. Needless to say, Kendall and I have realized that our days of having them contained in one place are dwindling rather fast, but the joy they bring to our lives grows more every day! While they were discovering new places in our den this past weekend, Kendall and I did some traveling just the two of us and headed up to Minneapolis for the Desiring God conference. It definitely wasn't easy being away from the girls but what a blessing it was for two reasons: A) to learn, grow, and be taught more about what it means to follow God's command to make disciples of ALL nations and B) to do it alongside my spouse. We had such a sweet time together and can't wait to see what the Lord continues to teach us and the ways he directs our hearts and lives over the coming weeks, months, and years. We're praying for His kingdom to come and thankful that He so graciously chooses to involve us in this process. May he be glorified in our lives and in our home! That is our prayer!
