This past weekend, not wanting to break our trend of either having company or being out of town EVERY single weekend since bringing the girls home, we ventured to Lake Martin with the Williams side of the family for a weekend at the lake. We have decided these out of town excursions are great now that we know how to pack up our whole house a little faster =) The not so enjoyable part is that I was running a 102+ fever as we made the decision to still go which seems to be par for the course these days. This is the 2nd round of mastitis/sickness I’ve had and man it is not fun, not to mention VERY challenging to take care of two babies when you can barely take care of yourself. But, knowing if I could suck it up and endure the car trip, the girls would once again have many extra hands to help feed, change, and be loved on. Boy are they spoiled with love! Not too many quiet moments were had with the exception of the one time where all but the newest parents were on the boat. The girls had fallen fast asleep and we weren’t far behind them. It was great to spend time with family, enjoy being out on the water, eat some delicious food to keep feeding these two babies, and let our girls be loved on by Aunts, Uncles, Mimi and Grandpa and that they were! Now we are just anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first nephew!
