Truly since many of our days can often feel like a real zoo...{little monkeys flying everywhere, food in all sorts of places, and messes galore}...it only makes sense to take them where they belong. =)
Most of the time we go we have the absolute best time...all three love animals, but especially Ashton Kate and let's be honest-any activity that takes up the majority of the day is never a bad option. Insert: I love my days with these three but they can be ever so tiring!
So this particular day at the zoo was the best...school had started back for most and so we had the whole place to ourselves! And the weather was fantastic-beautiful and sunny!
And stopping to document our day helps remind me weeks later of just how sweet and precious this fleeting time is with these girls...and makes me slow down to savor their precious little lives!
Now that we have a zoo pass, we often go straight to ride the train, especially when there is no line! Then we make our way around the zoo and swing back by for one last train ride before we head home! You know, just to get our money's worth. =)
Goodness little love, it's hard to get enough kisses each day!
The twins LOVE LOVE LOVE to study their little maps and figure out where we are, what we have seen, and what we have left to see...and it's so neat to see them figuring these things out!
As long as she has a snack in her hand and she's outside, she's usually good to go!
It warmed up a little more than we were expecting so we now have some red-cheeked sweeties!
This sweet pea seriously LOVES animals and is completely enthralled by them. So much fun watching her take it all in, squeal when she spots them, and see her inquisitive little mind in action!
These two sure behaved like big girls today and it does this mama's heart good from time to time! =)
You're a little firecracker sweetheart and fiercely independent now, but you sure do have a zest for life that's hard not to love!
So thankful to spend my days making memories with these three girls! The days might appear and feel long, but the years truly are so short!
