Grayson Mills Currie {7 Months Old}

7 Month Stats:

Weight: still chunky =)

Height: still average

Clothes: wearing mostly 6mo

Diapers: size 2

Teeth: first one popped through at 6.5mo

Memories & Milestones: 6 Months Old-7 Months Old

-introduced solids to you a little after 6mo (we waited an extra week for you to be healthy!)

-Your first bite of real food (oatmeal) was on 9/26/17 and was also your first time in the high chair-you gobbled it all up and got the hang of eating rather quickly!

-1st butternut squash (10/2/17), 1st avocado after squash, 1st carrots (10/8/17), 1st pears (10/10/17), 1st bananas (10/20/17)

-You always LOVED your first Baby Mum Mum in the bumbo on 10/15/17

-you started rolling over during diaper changes at 6.5mo

-you started doing the tripod sitting right around 6.75mo

-were able to put your paci back in your mouth at 6.75mo as well

-started getting up on your knees and rocking at 6.75mo

-this month you began shaking toys every which way to see what they do and if they make noise

-you enjoy flapping your legs down really hard on the crib mattress and we can hear you banging around up there every night when you go to bed

-you cut your first tooth right around six and a half months and also bit mommy while nursing (huge ouch!) on 10/22/17

-you were almost sitting up unassisted right around 7 months

-still adored by your big sisters! All three enjoy reading to you, playing with you, and "babysitting" you!

...and THAT SMILE =) We're pretty smitten G-bug!

Grayson Mills Currie {6 Months Old}

6 Month Stats:

Weight: roughly 18lbs

Clothes: 6 month

Precious One,

If I could freeze time with you I’d do it in a heartbeat! You are the perfect t little caboose to our family right now! Boy you brighten each and every day the minute we come get you out of your crib! Grayson, you are just the most darling thing we ever laid eyes on. You are rarely fussy, smile at anyone still, and go with the flow. You fit right in to this crazy crew we have and boy do they adore you. They fight to hold you and cry if they don’t get to tell you goodnight. We’re all equally smitten over you. =) You’ve started waking up at night again and I should do the right thing and  push through and make you cry a little more, but you just require so little during the day that it’s my chance to meet your every need and have a moment to hold you just a tad longer! You are a dream baby and everywhere we go people comment on how laid back you are and how chill you are. We are so thankful for that and for you sweet boy! I could never have imagined how much I’d love having a little boy in our lives, but you have surpassed all those dreams! I cannot wait to see all the many ways God uses your gifts and talents to further His kingdom. I can’t wait to tell you of His great love for you! I wish for anything we could make these next six months go way slower than the first six, but I’m afraid only the opposite will come to pass…SO we will treasure our days with you, even the nights you should be sleeping and know that it passes far too quickly. We will blink and you will be off running…that makes me excited and teary all at the same time! Every day with you is such a sweet reminder that God truly does give the VERY BEST GIFTS! We love you Grayson!!

Memories & Milestones: 5 Months Old-6 Months Old

-rolling both ways right at 6 months

-scooching backwards and moving around in a circle 

-reaching for everything and putting in your mouth

-can transfer toys back and forth to different hands

-you are reaching for toys that are out of your reach

-first boat ride 8/26/17 (just over 5mo)

-first walk in the double bob sitting up 8/28/17

-first night in his crib instead of rock n play 8/29/17

-first time in the nursery at CBS 8/30/17

-first ER visit-croup 9/18/17

-rolled from back to tummy in the crib 9/18/17

And just so we NEVER forget how chunky your little thighs were!! =)

Grayson Mills Currie {5 Months Old}

5 Month Stats:

Weight: Roughly 18lbs

Grayson Mills,

My how we adore you! We really wish time would slow down-fastest 5 months of our lives hands down! You are chunking up rather nicely these days, ha! J Everywhere we go, people have two reactions: 1. He is SO smiley! And then followed up with 2. He is HUGE! Yes you are sweet boy! Growing like a weed! You are the squishiest, cutest thing we ever laid eyes on! And that big dimply grin is almost too much! I could hold you all day and never get anything done around the house! It’s tempting on so many days because these baby days are fleeting. Truly, you have been the best baby and so much fun because you are so easy and we can take you anywhere! You don’t cry too often and as long as make sure to not push you too much in one day, you are a joy! Your smile lights up a room and it’s so much fun to let  others enjoy you too! I hope you stay so joyful as you grow! We couldn’t love you more if we tried! Happy 5 Months sweet Grayson! You are immensely loved around this house!

Memories & Milestones: 4 Months Old-5 Months Old

-play with your toes and hold onto your feet all the time (4.5mo)-put your hands and fingers in mouth to suck on-constant babbling and testing out new sounds
-love being shown attention and will break into the biggest grin with dimples and all

-sleeping all night (with one early morning feeding) and then back down again
-trying to sit up in the bath tub from laying down position (a good ab work out)
-still nursing great (6 feedings a day)
-you still spit up bucketfuls unfortunately and can soak mommy’s outfit in a quick minute!
-you are pretty laid back and go with the flow unless you're exhausted

-1st plane ride-Puerto Rico with mommy and daddy 8/3-8/7
-1st dip in the pool at the St. Regis in Puerto Rico 8/4/17
-1st bike ride- Puerto Rico 8/6/17
-first time in the baby Einstein play saucer 8/14/17 (4.75mo)

-started sucking your thumb more and more-we shall see if that ends up being your thing (4.75mo)
-you will smile at EVERYONE!! As soon as you make eye contact there's a slight pause and then you break into the biggest grin-it's adorable!
-reach and play with toys well

-easy, easy baby!
-scooting backwards like off the boppy, scooting around sideways
-discovered your tongue right at 5mo
