Semi-Annual Currie Crew Cabin Trip {Blue RIdge-April 2018}

Welp, we are home sweet home after a much needed getaway! With Kendall's long long hours at work (an understatement) this was time we desperately needed as a family! Getting away means less dishes, housework, etc and more intentional time with the kiddos and with family! We had a blast, as we always do, with the rest of the Currie crew! The girls play so well together and entertain themselves quite nicely! Thankful for sweet grandparents who enjoy investing in family and that time together is their favorite gift!

The couch might not hold anymore kiddos! =)
Grayson loved exploring some new territory! But truly he required someone following him around the ENTIRE time if he wasn't asleep! We forgot how much little ones get into and how many things aren't childproofed!
I think they truly played "horses and horseback riding" the entire four day trip! Their "show" was rather cute and they had a ball with each other! (remind me never to bring toys on a trip anymore-they always find something creative to do!)
The two daddies took the 5 girls on a little outdoor excursion! The mamas stayed home with the sleeping babies! Not sure who had more fun =)

Time for S'mores! We opted for later afternoon snack so they wouldn't be on a sugar high right before bedtime! Worked like a charm and they ran around the yard and did the hot tub afterwards!
On Sunday morning, we loaded up and headed back to Mercier Orchards (where we've been blueberry picking) and did a little strawberry picking! The weather couldn't have been more perfect and the girls quickly learned how to select some premium strawberries to take home!
Daddy showed Ashton Kate the ropes and also how to sample a few along the way!
Sweet Memories (Literally!)
Admiring how their bucket is full of deep red ones!
Without even realizing it, the littlest one had snagged a berry and enjoyed it immensely! HE managed to drop strawberry juice all over both of us, ha! Guess it was yummy!
They finally worked up the courage to take a pic with Ms. Strawberry and Mr. Blueberry!
So incredibly thankful for family! We leave better each time we are together and we treasure the time our children have with one another too! Our hearts are indeed fuller after our long weekend in Blue Ridge!
