Celebrating AK's 1st Birthday-Pancakes & Pajamas Style!

Oh HAPPY Day! Today we get to celebrate the graciousness of God over the past year on our sweet, adorable Ashton Kate! We have a ONE year old and that calls for a big celebration. And celebrate we did! Her big sisters were especially excited to have a party for her. =) Oh the love they have for her. The love her mommy and daddy have for her. But OH the love Jesus has for her. That she would know that truth soon. We are so grateful for her life and anxiously pray that the Lord would use her for the advancement of His kingdom. That her heart would be drawn to Him early and that He would use her life to spread His name to the ends of the earth. Oh little one, we have so much hope for your life! Now time to celebrate YOU...pancakes and pajamas style!
Ashton Kate looks ready for her guests to arrive!
The food is on the table thanks to many helping hands!
We are officially ready to celebrate baby number THREE in our house!
Can my scrumptious little girl seriously be ONE!?
The helper bees...or taste testers! =)

Eternally grateful for the blessing of this child!
Four out of the five smiling...not bad! =)
Ashton Kate enjoying her party guests...and sweet friends!
Singing many praises of thanksgiving over this sweet life!
Mischievous, joyful, and keeps us on our toes at all times!
The Lord has blessed us abundantly more than we could have every fathomed with such thoughtful friends! Such a joy to share life with these dear people we are fortunate to call friends!
And this little pea pod sure does love her Nana and G-Dad big time!
It's birthday cake time!
Some rather excited sisters are ready too...they sure are smitten over her! =)
"Ok, where's that cake you mentioned..."
Happy Birthday to you Miss Ashton Kate! Will you please forgive us for letting you touch the flame!? Oops...parent fail!!
After many tears were shed, we are now back and ready to try this whole cake thing once more...=)
No doubt this girl is enjoying herself some birthday cake...maybe she too has inherited a sweet tooth!?

Humbled to be your parents precious one...praying for God's grace and mercy each step of the way!
Always a lady...even at her party! =)
