What a glorious day! As a Christ follower, there is no other day that offers more hope and more joy than the good news of a resurrected Savior! The cross is a beautiful reminder not only today, but everyday, of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. That His blood was shed on our behalf to bridge the gap that our sin has created. To provide a way to make us right before a Holy God. To pay the penalty of death that our sin deserves. And to give us hope that one day we will see our Savior and one day we will be free from sinning and that things will be rightly restored. What hope and what joy that should give our hearts! We hope and pray our children will know this same truth and will never be able to look at the cross in the same light once the Lord opens their eyes and their hearts to their need for Him. Thank you Jesus for saving us, for redeeming us, for providing a way for us to spend eternity with you! All Glory Be To You!
We loved being able to celebrate this special day with family this year! The girls are at such a fun age and we loved seeing their faces light up with delight as they discovered each egg hidden in a tree or bush. They loved having their cousin Connor their to share in the excitement! Not much is cuter than watching three little ones toddle and run all over the yard, squealing with delight over their new found treasures! Such a special weekend to celebrate our Risen Savior! Thankful for the gift of family!
I think that was our clue that MG was done with all this "picture taking" business! HAPPY EASTER!!
