Free Chick-Fil-A...I Mean Cow Appreciation Day {July 2015}

Well...it's that time of summer again. That gloriously fun day where you have an excuse to dress like a cow for some free food. To say we have gotten our money's worth out of the twins first Halloween costumes is an understatement. =) Maybe we should be "cows" every year....ha! We kicked off our morning by meeting some sweet friends for breakfast at the Tiger Town location...where we are there so much, they know us pretty well. =)

Makenzie was so proud of herself for standing somewhat close to the cow for a picture...progress people!

So thankful to do life with these mamas and their littles! Such an answered prayer for community here in Auburn!

And just because we can't stand to miss out on any social event going on with friends, we decided to join those who couldn't make it to breakfast at the mall for lunch! No one was actually hungry so they got spoiled with chocolate milk and ice cream for lunch...umm yes please in a preschooler's world!

A little chaotic, but oh so fun! Happy cows, sad cows, wild cows...you get the picture when you have this many little ones together!

Trying to prepare them for Disney and all the characters...getting a little closer and giving some high fives! 

And I mean once you've hit up Chick-Fil-A for breakfast and lunch, why not conquer dinner, too!? =)

Especially since daddy couldn't make it to the other two-at least he could have a chance to see his littles dressed up!

This outing the girls insisted on bringing their itty bitty cows with them, so I present to you their baby calves...birthed right before dinner time! =)

Just can't handle this cute mess!

Thank you Chick-Fil-A for a super fun day, an excuse to get dressed up, a fun time with friends and mamas, and for always going above and beyond to serve well, You hands down win the award in our family for best place to take our littles out to eat! =)

Mountain Memories for the 4th of July...{2015}

There is SO much joy that can be found through the eyes of little ones...just try it sometime. Every TINY, LITTLE thing can become the biggest source of excitement and happiness for them. And when we have the time to slow down and partake in it with them, it's pretty great! And for our family, Cracker Barrel means we are not in a hurry to be somewhere. We can slow down, take our time, enjoy our food, let them play, and add road trip memories to the mix! This journey led us to the mountains with The Currie families for the Fourth of July....Blue Ridge here we come!

No mountain road trip is complete if there's not a Cracker Barrel stop involved...and looks like Ashton Kate couldn't agree more! =)

We say it every time, but it's so nice to not have to waste food and know that they will eat just about every bite on their plates and probably a good bit of ours too here! =)

Precious time with his littlest! Off work and on the road with the family...

The gift shop: the girls favorite! The baby dolls and all the accessories never disappoint! We have to drag them out every.single.time!

Nothing extravagant, but some good quality family play time with daddy, Gdad, and cousins!

The highlight of the weekend for her was probably the screened in porch that gave her access to come and go as she pleased! Freedom...the girl loves it!

Just on a picnic with the babies...and their mommies! =)

Thankful for time to slow down as a family and enjoy one another! Could not be more thankful for this crazy crew! {Especially when daddy is along to help out!}

Had big plans to go blueberry picking...oops misread the times so just enjoyed the gift shop instead!

Hard to fathom life before these three girls were entrusted into our care...=)

And this little rascal is the perfect addition to the family and she keeps us on our toes, but sure does provide unlimited entertainment for days...

We filled up Nana and GDad's lap rather quickly...and one day these five will get a glimpse of just how deeply loved they are! The sacrifices for these five are already beyond the ability to count! =)

What a wonderful time we had together with family! So, so grateful for the precious gifts all five of these children are to all of us! Thankful to be on this parenting journey together and to have the encouragement, love, and support from grandparents as we try to muster up enough strength and grace to keep fighting this race we're on...we couldn't do it alone! 

Hot Summer Fun at the Farm

Another hot summer day at the farm is in the books. Sweet, happy children making memories does a heart good! We loved going with old friends to their farm once again for some summer fun for the kiddos (and mamas too!) And besides all the fun, I can't even stand the cuteness of a babe in a bonnet...swoon!

AHH!! Makenzie caught her very first fish today! Thanks Ms. Evie for doing the dirty work for this non-farm girl mama she has! She was so excited about it but wouldn't get any closer than that to it...
